Petrichor Artisan Soaps started as a hobby in 2018 when I (Annaliese, the owner) was 15. Since then I've loved making bath products, experimenting with different recipes, ingredients, and scents. I started selling my soaps to family and friends, and have since done craft fairs, online orders, and stocked in local shops.

"Petrichor" is a Greek word used to describe the smell of rainfall on pavement. It's inspired by childhood memories of playing out in the rain after a Spring or Summer storm in Nebraska. That is why our soaps include rainy, woodsy notes to remind you of cozy forests, thunderstorms, and the magic of after the rain.

Annaliese lives in the Omaha area, making soap and other bath products when she's not at her full-time job. Her other hobbies include singing, writing, reading, and martial arts.

Kyla (the owner's sister), loves photography and helps edit the lighting and background for perfect product photography. She also loves playing the ukulele, reading, and fighting it out with the family cat in her free time.
